Sarah and I rented a car on March 6th. We had just gotten possession of the house in February--my 45th!! high school reunion was that night--and we thought it would be a good time to drive out to see the house. We met with George Roof, a local builder and contractor who had been recommended by associates of Liz Mataset from Green Acres. He was extraordinarily optimistic about the possibilities of redemption for the house. Many of the "before" pictures were taken by Sarah as we walked through and around the house.
